We’re doing things a little differently for this month’s Listening Club.
On Friday 21 February we perform Olivier Messiaen‘s masterwork, the Quartet for the End of Time at Kings Place and we want you to discover more about the music.
Have a listen and post any questions or comments you have about the work in the “reply” box at the bottom of this article, or click “leave a comment” on the left hand side. You might be intrigued by the Quartet‘s history or you might have questions about the soundworld Messiaen creates and how he accomplishes it.
Next week, Philip Cashian – composer and Head of Composition at the Royal Academy of Music – will publish the latest edition of the Listening Club addressing the topics and questions you most want to know more about.
